Comedy-wise, we have listened to the many fans who begged for the return of Alan Carr and have booked him! We’ve got Ed Byrne, the grungy teenager from Father Ted, world travelled comedy festival icon, film, theatre and TV celeb and sell out stand up comic. We’ve got Jo Brand, the first lady of comedy. And of course, the inimitable Lenny Henry is not only the Master of Ceremonies, he is one of Britain's most iconic stand up comedians, which just proves that the world’s best Othello art the keeper o’er a hysterical audience, me lady.
Musically, we’ve got the beautiful, soulful, powerhouse, Beverley Knight with her full band, arguably the Midlands’ most loved singer, and the great Björn Again perform the songs of ABBA. Glastonbury favourite and all-round legend Rolf Harris and his band will be singing at probably LG Arena’s largest ever karaoke event – you know you’ll sing along! We’ve ex-Young One, Adrian Edmondson and The Bad Shepherds, with their unique concept of playing punk songs on folk instruments. Yes, that’s Sex Pistols played on a mandolin. And, to bring in the Christmas cheer, we’ve got Slade and all I need to say is IT’S CHRISTMAS!!!
