ACTION ON QUALITY ACCREDITATION & COMPLIANCE WITH ISO 9000
To date, Pinnacle has been able to demonstrate its quality through excellent service delivery. We are always happy to consider necessary accreditation for our customers as we see our business and network grow.It is important to point out that we believe in a truly bespoke service and while we do have certain systems in place, our focus is very much on delivering a tailored service package to each customer. This does not preclude us from following a route towards a quality accreditation. It may be necessary however to clearly identify the objectives of such a project for Pinnacle and our client.
ACTION TO OBTAIN ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT ISO 14001
Clearly, the environmental impact of our service is mainly based around the transportation of personnel in our Pinnacle vehicles.Pinnacle continually looks to reduce its impact on the environment in a number of ways. These are:
Vehicle power units- Pinnacle is in the process of assessing the environmental and service benefits of a number of power units. We use petrol, diesel and LPG vehicles. No clear winner can be chosen, each having different environmental impacts and benefits.
Fuel Options- We are committed to increasing our use of Bio-diesel.Availability and economic issues preclude us from committing to only Bio-diesel, but our use of this fuel is increasing.
Occupancy - Whilst this is clearly at the discretion of our customers, each of our vehicles has the ability to carry up to six passengers. As such we can represent a very low environmental impact compared to other transport solutions when considering the full door-to-door cost.
Network Logistics- As a truly nationwide network, we deliver our necessary business transport services to our national customers effectively. With central control of this network, we are able to reduce unnecessary mileage and the its environmental impact.
We are happy to consider pursuing environmental management accreditation.
